About Occam’s Technologies
We build carbon capture systems for the world that exists — not the one we wish existed.
We build carbon capture systems for the world that exists — not the one we wish existed.
Internal combustion engines power the industries and communities that make modern life possible. But they also emit over 1.5 gigatons of CO₂ each year, emissions that have been largely ignored by traditional carbon capture technologies.
We are builing DOCC to solve that.
Our first product, Direct Oxyfire Carbon Capture (DOCC), is a bolt-on, modular system that captures CO₂ from diesel and natural gas engines simply, efficiently, and affordably.
But DOCC is just the beginning.
Occam’s is guided by three principles that shape everything we build:
The simplest effective solution is usually the best. By adapting proven techniques from other industries, we move fast without reinventing the wheel.
When you design for simplicity, efficiency follows. Our systems are lean by necessity; modular, low energy consumption, and cost-effective to deploy.
We aim for real, measurable reductions in human environmental impact. Every project we pursue is chosen with long-term impact in mind.
We are a carbon-tech company, not a one-product company. While DOCC is our flagship, we’re actively exploring solutions that help decarbonize the broader hydrocarbon sector, including:
Hydrogen production from hydrocarbons
CO₂ capture from multiple gas streams
Water treatment for remote industrial sites
As regulatory pressure grows and incentives align, we intend to remain at the forefront of deployable climate tech, bridging the gap between what’s ideal and what’s possible.
We don’t do this alone. Our work is grounded in real-world deployment, enabled by a growing network of collaborators:
Engineering firms like Gas Liquids Engineering
Commercial partners like Precision Drilling
Academic institutions like the University of Windsor
Federal funders like Natural Resources Canada
Whether you’re:
An engine operator seeking pilot deployment
A grant program lead evaluating tech-readiness
A research group working on combustion systems
Or a carbon credit buyer seeking credible, distributed supply
…we’d love to talk.
